This stunning property underwent major renovations within the main house and a full conversion within the adjoining barn.
The elaborate barn conversion, with an oak framed structure and engineered oak flooring, created a multi-functional recreational building. This building incorporated a wet-room, a purpose built sauna, main hall, kitchen, office, bedroom and bathroom. All of these rooms were created with a modern feel but using traditional building techniques and materials to give a stylish, quality finish to the barn.
Mood lighting was a key feature in the overall design, and this was made possible by the installation of the Lutron lighting control system; it was this and the attention to detail and quality which really gave this renovation the wow factor.
This Exquisite Grade II Listed Georgian house in formal gardens with secondary accommodation, outbuildings and organic pasture was in desperate need of both sympathetic restoration and with the clients foresite much needed modernisation.
Our clients property sits back from a quiet lane in a rural Essex hamlet and is surrounded by lawns, formal gardens and mature trees, the setting is perfect for a house of its calibre.
